  1. Note quite, you really ought to study modern ‘computation neuroscience’, already computers can be smarter than humans, which isn’t saying much,

    Modern ( 2013 ) neural-net’s are much smarter than human’s.

    You remind of KUNSTLER is fixed in the 1970′s peak-oil dream-scape.

    You keep going to freudian psych, but the neural-nets of today are just an abstraction of the human brain, without the dead weight of a body,

    The machine learns by watching, and then can dream, or deduce, or induce ideas that a human may never consider.

    100 billions neurons, and 100 trillion synapses, but at 200 decisions per second is human, now storage for neural-nets is up there with humans but even a PC now can make a billions of decisions a second, …

    In ‘terminator’ they had SKYNET in 1997, funny in 1997 NSA went online also with “SKYNET”, but the NSA model is/was a virtual electronic brain, how soon will this computer start making its own autonomous decisions? It already has.

    modern neural-nets, are trained like ‘observation’, they observe,

    Modern computation ‘programming’ is out.

    Just like the human mind, the brain recognizes patterns and makes associations, then the human body act’s on these prior ‘learning biases’, … but there is NO programming.

    Learning is observation, said to be ‘training’.

    Once your system is ‘trained’, you let it loose on the real world and let it learn, by trial and error, …

    An error may mean a ‘drone’ knocks out a kindergarten, but so what a machine doesn’t care anymore than OBAMA.

    Eventually the machine ‘gets it’ and becomes the perfect killing machine.

    Also what’s brilliant now is the notion of ‘swarms’ there are swarms of drones, … all with their own learning, and all go into dream-state when they find no input ( nothing to kill, no targets ). The DOD master idea here is that the machine can out-think a human, because NO morality is involved, and also of course the machine will never do a ‘snowden’ and narc to the press about its kills,

    For obama, he’ll just announce a good kill, and deny the bad kills, … its the perfect system for genocide.

    Eventually and not to far in the future, we will not even need an elected president, just a computer running in UTAH, … don’t worry the system’s are all hard wired with markov chains to teach that they only way you WIN, is when the RICH end up with all the chips.
